The year was 2000 when Defuse was formed in Kuopio. It was there where a pack of musicians from different backgrounds got their act together being guided by their mutual musical interests. Defuse started their draconian training and published their first demos in 2001. This got the show on the road. In 2004 Defuse’s line-up changed when Ville stood aside and was replaced by Tero Karjalainen.In fall 2005 they recorded their self titled album and it was released in March 2006. This album received incredible reviews and got plenty of airplay time on several radio stations. Now everybody knew what Defuse was all about. The video "Killing another Tear" was shot in April and after that the band hit the road with many shows in Finland, Estonia and Latvia.
2007 started out with a record release and a tour in Italy. The tour was a big success and Defuse will definitely return to Italy in the fall of 2007. The bandsmore recent release is the video from the song "D.I.B", which stars Marco Hietala of Nightwish & Tarot as guest singer.
Defuse is a band not to be ignored!

The vocals vary from ambient elegies to aggressive metal. Sound collages are weaved around the voice and take the listener on a magic ride through the bright and dark realms of the human soul.

The unique mix of atmospheric Goth Rock, vibrant Industrial Metal to Ambient and neoclassic elements represents the band’s originality in their music. The lyrics are far from being blatant or nebulous, but brave and to the point. That’s the sound of modern Goth Rock.

After releasing their successful debut-album “Monsterproof” in 2006, their second album “Gravity” will now be released as a 2 -CD limited first edition.
The songs on “Gravity“ are as sensitive and atmospheric as usual. Singer Andrea B. does transport these emotions more than just well. Division Kent’s cover version of the classic Shriekback song This Big Hush is as good as the original thanks to Andrea B.’s melancholic -and at the same time erotic- voice.
Peter Scherer (Sakamoto, David Byrne), who produced two songs,did find the perfect production settings. Same as Peter Schmidt (Beatsteaks, Klee) who mixed most of the album in his studios and Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Interpol, Nick Cave) who took over the mixing of four songs.
Besides the 11 songs from the regular album there are 13 remixes on the second CD. Artists from L.A., New York, Paris, Tokio and Geneva added another dimension to the songs. The remixes are for listeners who like ex-periments -as well as for people who love club music.

And then you will be run over by the evil powers of rock’n’roll. Low life heroes are back!
After forming the Mind of Doll, in Vantaa in 2000, the band found their own way, remained strong and no one could grind them down.. If either their rock’n’roll attitude has been sucked in with their mothers’ milk or if they added that stuff to Vantaas drinking water, one thing is for sure: Visa, Sakke, Päivinen and Öre did not need any lessons about rock-attitude nor for writing highly addictive rock anthems. Their next step was to get known by the masses and to infect them with their pure and sweet rock’n’roll music.
The charming men who are all over 20 years old have listened to the The Hellacopters, Smack, Backyard Babies, Hanoi Rocks and Motörhead, among many other bands. They have listened to their idols very closely but Mind of Doll managed to create their own unique sound. Mind of Doll’s own interesting and even a bit snotty sound is the result of years of training and growing more tight as a band. Their most distinctive features are Visas street credited singing style and the band’s harsh playing.

The band NONmusic have been around since 2000 and actually the band was known as NON in their homecountry Slovenia. "Not Everything Is Made In China" is their first release with lyrics in English. The band took this project very serious right from the start- shooting two videos "3rd" and "Gender Charger" with international film teams was just one of the efforts the band put into their career. No wonder that a band like The Killers found out about NON and asked them to play as their support act for their Slovenian open air show in front of 20.000 people. At this concert NON could show a wider audience what a brilliant band they are and the people just loved them.
NONmusic’s album „Not Everything Is Made In China“ in an excellent electronic/guitar pop/rock album which is influenced by bands like Placebo, The Killers or Depeche Mode. But you can hear that NONmusic have their very own sound. The highlight of this album is a coverversion of the Depeche Mode song "It’s No Good":Nonmusic’s version sounds rrefrreshingly different but still you can recognize the song. Soon there will also be a video for „It’s No Good“. This song and of course the other songs on the album prove how skilful this band is and their album is really fun to listen to.

Silent Art Orchestra is much more than just a folk, blues or electro project. Although this album could be classified as folk or world music because of the oriental sounds of this very special instrument.
Thomas Maos and the Dobro just belong together- he is a virtuoso of this instrument. His brilliant play makes this record something really special. The songs’ soft and very poetic compositions are far away from the usual Nashville mainstream. Producer Sandi Strmljan had this special intuition to give the songs this certain urban feeling with his drumming and programming.
Their recent record "Larger Than Life“ is a milestone for progressive and timeless instrumental music.
The two musicians know exactly how to combine acoustic sounds and electronic rhythms to something that will make you dream. Guitar riffs, melodies we know from blues, and oriental music meet urban electro-beats, delicately programmed drums and rhythms that were recorded live. But their motivation for creating this masterpiece has not been of an esoteric nor a religious nature. However, the sounds and compositions are as spheric as in meditation music, as loose as musical improvisation or they are arranged like a score.
Thomas Maos, who is the guitarist and one half of the Silent Art Orchestra has always been walking the edge of different musical styles, always trying to find new ways of interpreting popular and experimental music.. Typical for his work are all the different cooperations with artists coming from different musical backgrounds and different areas of art such as dance, theatre and art projection. His musical influences and sources of inspiration are as versatile as himself: Pink Floyd, Ry Cooder, Elliot Sharp, Giörgi Ligeti, Minimal Music, Einstürzende Neubauten, Fred Firth and Can to name just a few.
Sandi Strmljan is the other half of Silent Art Orchestra and their drummer, producer and
songwriter. He always keeps his eyes and ears open for new inspirations. His fine sense for sounds and tunes and his ability to adjust to different music styles made it easy to him to work with different artists such as Udo Lindenberg, No Angels, Cinema Bizarre , or MC Lyte.
"Larger Than Life“ is larger than life, it is a journey of two "audionauts“ travelling through the vast universe of music.

Hardrock with Greek influences, rockin’ riffs, appealing arrangements and a sudorific groove – these are the musical elements TRI STATE CORNER is made of. The band from Cologne, Germany is an excellent example of modern European reality. The roots of TRI STATE CORNER are from Greece, Germany and Poland – three nationalities but one destiny.
The five musicians Lucky (vocals), Janni (lead guitar, backings), Christoph (guitar) and Markus (Bass) have already convinced their fans on German stages with their energetic show. The drums are played by Christos Efthimiadis, known through RAGE and SUB7EVEN.
TRI STATE CORNER have so much creative potential, that any of the four members can’t wait to transform the personal musical input into a joint output: no matter if it’s in the studio or live on stage. It’s just simple rock music – but one get’s caught at the latest when they bring on the Bouzuki, the traditional Greek lute instrument.
