ΤΗΕ GLOBAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS CYPRUS 2011 Fishbones Records Ltd proudly presents The Global Battle Of The Bands Cyprus 2011.
Fishbone Records, the creative team behind the Cyprus' foremost unsigned band competition, "Bands Fest", has decided to up its expectations and has now come in agreement with the makers of The Global Battle Of The Bands (GBOB). GBOB is the world's biggest live talent competition for bands of all genres. Established in 2004 with 16 countries participating, it has now spread to over 30 countries and counting. Finals are held in different locations each year with Kuala Lumpur being the latest. Prizes include a $100,000 band development project and of course, huge exposure for any considerable talent. The event is considered a gold-mine in 'talent spotting' and is attended by many important figures of the universal music community.
